Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and PeriCue for using the app. They cover what PeriCue is, the PeriCue Plus subscription, and the important limits on a personal health-tracking tool. Please read them before you use the app.

The short version: PeriCue is a personal tracking and education tool, not a medical service. Your data stays on your device. PeriCue Plus renews automatically through Apple until you cancel.

1Accepting these terms

By downloading or using PeriCue, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be an adult, or the age of majority where you live, to use PeriCue.

2What PeriCue is — and is not

PeriCue helps you log symptoms, cycles, treatments, and lifestyle factors, and shows you patterns and educational information about perimenopause and menopause. It is a wellness and self-tracking tool.

PeriCue is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The insights, trends, and educational content are for general information only and are not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your health, your symptoms, and any decision about medication or hormone therapy. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read in the app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

3Your data and responsibility

PeriCue stores your entries on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own device secure. Because your data is stored locally and not on our servers, deleting the app removes your data, and we cannot recover it for you. If you want to keep a copy, use the app's export feature before deleting.

4PeriCue Plus subscription

PeriCue offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, PeriCue Plus, which unlocks premium features such as extended trend history, personalized insights, the treatment-response timeline, and doctor-ready export. Core tracking remains free.

PeriCue Plus begins with a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription automatically.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings, not inside the app.
Prices, trial length, and features may change; any change will apply to future billing periods, not the current one.

Purchases, billing, trials, renewals, and any refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. Refund requests are made through Apple.

5Acceptable use

You agree to use PeriCue only for your own personal, lawful health tracking. You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent the app's security or subscription mechanisms, and not to use the app in any way that violates applicable law.

6Intellectual property

PeriCue, including its name, design, and content, is owned by Josh Weiner and protected by applicable law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control. The health data you enter remains yours.

7Disclaimers

PeriCue is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its insights and educational content are complete or suited to your particular situation.

8Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Josh Weiner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health decisions made in reliance on the app. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of PeriCue after a change means you accept the updated terms.
